Aging With Intention: The Kavanah of Aging is a series of facilitated two-hour and thirty minute workshops that enables participants to look at their own lives and their own aging process in the context of Jewish learning. The series includes opportunities to get in touch with past challenges and the personal traits and resources that have helped each individual overcome them. The goal is, in short, to age well.

This year’s cohort will meet in person on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:30 pm on the dates listed above. When participants register they are registering for the series as a whole. Participants are expected to attend almost all workshops.

The fee for the series is $80 for members of Kol Emeth and Congregation Etz Chayim. The fee for the series for non-members is $100. No one will be excluded from participation due to inability to pay. Contact Honey Meir-Levi for more information regarding the series as a whole or concerns regarding cost.

You are also invited to High Holidays Through a Lens of Kavanah on Wednesday, Sept. 25th from 1:00 - 2:30 pm in person. The High Holidays Through a Lens of Kavanah (Personal Intention) is an experiential workshop that provides an opportunity for us to pause from usual holiday preparations to explore what Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur offer us on our unique journeys. Looking at our own values and hopes, and working with others in small breakout groups, we will build personal intention into the experience of this important time of renewal. Our goal is to carry the message of the High Holidays with us long beyond the final peal of the shofar.
