WOMEN'S BOOK GROUP

Join us once or often as we discuss books with Jewish themes. We read all genres, and include beloved classics as well as recently published titles. Each book is chosen by the member who volunteers to lead an upcoming discussion, and we remain committed to selecting works available in libraries as well as in multiple formats.

We meet on Zoom from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. We generally gather on the first Wednesday every two months and invite all Kol Emeth women to join us. If you have any questions, please contact Flaurie.

NEXT MEETING:

May 7, 2025 at 10:30 am | Ain't No Grave by Mary Glickman

This title is one of the two Jewish novels chosen this year for the "One Bay, One Book" program launched by the Jewish Community Library.

The JCL's website says, "Ain't No Grave" explores the evolving friendship of a Jewish boy and a Black girl from backwoods Georgia through their adulthood in 1913 Atlanta, where they become enmeshed in the pivotal murder trial of Leo Frank and witness the growth of antisemitism in the region."

Register here to let us know you will join us. We will send out the Zoom link a few days before the meeting.
