Meet Us
Everyone is welcome at our egalitarian Jewish community in the heart of Silicon Valley, in Palo Alto, California.
Kol Emeth is a place to learn, grow, pray, and make (temporarily virtual) face-to-face human connections.
This is Kol Emeth and this is us:
We chase our perfectly imperfect toddlers across the courtyard at kiddush. We love to lift our voices in song—the operatic and the off-key are equally welcome. We flirt with our fellow twentysomethings at Shabbat dinner, and we hold hands with our spouse of 50 years during services. We might jump for joy when the Torah comes out, or sit in quiet reflection during contemplative minyan. We are encountering and exploring Judaism for the first time, and we are steeped in decades of experience that we are eager to share. We are babies and bubbies and every human experience in between. We can’t wait to meet you.
Our Clergy and Staff:
Rabbi David Booth (Senior Rabbi)
Rabbi Sarah Graff
Morat Derech Sarah Miller
Members can view all other staff members here, if you're not a member and trying to get ahold of someone in particular email office@kolemeth.org and put a quick note in about who you'd like to speak to.
New to Kol Emeth?
Please join us for services or an event! We get it—it’s hard to be a stranger in a strange land (or a new shul). One of the best ways to experience Kol Emeth and connect with the community is to check out our Shabbat morning services, which begin at 9:15am every Saturday. Pro tip: Some of us may arrive…well, not so early. We’ll be happy to see you whenever you get here.
Got questions? Please contact us, or check out our FAQ. If you’d like, we’d be happy to connect you with an actual Kol Emeth human who can give you the scoop on our services, and introduce you to other folks. Whatever your level of Jewish experience or engagement, we’d love to be part of your journey.
