Throughout the year, Kol Emeth celebrates the Jewish Holidays in both traditional and innovative ways. Our Rabbis and teachers strive to make every holiday meaningful and fulfilling for all participants. Our Holiday services are for everyone of all ages and backgrounds and we hope you’ll join us!
Here are some of our major annual offerings. You’ll always find the latest information on service times and other holiday activities on the calendar.
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur:
Welcome the new year with a variety of different services for adults and kids alike. Gather together for our traditional Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services, but also make sure to join us for Taslich in a local park, or one of our alternative services like “Rosh Hashanah in the Round.” For families, please check out our youth services for different age groups, Chugim activities or take a break with old and new friends the game room or teen lounge!

Sukkot:
Underneath the palm fronds of the Kol Emeth Sukkah you’ll find a variety of lively celebrations and festive meals. Kids are sure to enjoy decorating, snacking and even a “sleep under.”
Simchat Torah:
As we turn the scrolls back to Bereshit, gather for dancing, Hakafot and joyous celebration.
Hanukkah:
Bring light to the early evening with our community Hanukkah celebration. Stand together around our community Menorah lighting and enjoy the glow of the candles, and the spirit of our friendship and caring for one another.
Purim:
In addition to the traditional Megillah reading, adults will enjoy an evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as well as the Purim “Spiel,” and Kids will love the community Purim Carnival complete with games, popcorn and cotton candy!
Passover:
Searching for a Seder or would like to invite guests to yours? Our seder matching program ensures that anyone who wants to attend a seder with a fellow congregant can do so. Our religious school celebrates with a mini-seder or other learning activities. Please check back in March for more details on the Seder Matching Program.
Shavuot:
Kol Emeth is a very exciting place to be for Shavuot! Come and experience an all-night festival of learning. Energize yourself with blintzes at 1:00am!
