September 18th at 6:30 am Sunrise Selichot Service.
Join us at the Palo Alto Baylands for a sunrise selichot service led by Elaine Moise at 6:30am, followed by apple treats and birdwatching guidance from Annetta Dean. We will meet at the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve Trailhead (the very end of San Antonio Rd) at 6:30am. Bring your favorite apple dish to share. Feel free to just show up, or you can register so we will know to expect you.

What a perfect way to honor a loved one. This year’s book will be used during Yizkor services on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Pesach, and Shavuot. L'OLAM VA'ED UPDATE - TREE COUNT
From our June 12th event with Climate Resilient Communities (CRC), here are four projects for which they’re looking for volunteers. If you’re interested, please call Shelly Lewis at 650-380-5125 or Nechama Tamler at 650-493-0502.
1. RESILIENT HOMES: Providing East Palo Alto, Belle Haven, Redwood City and North Fair Oaks homeowners with resources such as air purifiers and double-paned windows to retrofit their homes for energy efficiency and safety upgrades.
2. RAINGARDEN WATER CISTERN PROJECT: Building 25 raingardens and water cistern systems in East Palo Alto to address food and water insecurity.
3. OUR COMMUNITIES OUR BAY (OCOB): Addressing pollution by surveying residents in Redwood City, North Fair Oaks, Belle Haven and East Palo Alto and providing health improvement technologies in their homes.
4. RINGWOOD AND COLEMENT TRANSPORTATION STUDY: Redesigning Ringwood and Coleman Avenues to better fit community needs and preferences.
