Aging With Intention 2025
Wednesday, October 22, 2025 • 30 Tishrei 5786
10:00 AM - 12:00 PMJoin a group of like-minded people for facilitated workshops that look into the challenges and opportunities of the aging process. We will explore our own lives, preconceptions, and feelings about age, and will work together to identify what "aging well" means to us. We will learn new skills, share and develop successful strategies, and build awareness of relevant issues.
This series of eight workshops enables adults to look at their own lives in the context of Jewish learning.
The series includes opportunities to get in touch with past successes and build upon them. We also explore past challenges and the personal traits and resources that have helped each individual overcome them, and to utilize these traits and resources when looking toward the future. The facilitated format provides an open and accepting forum for learning and candid introspection.
There will be some interaction and assigned readings between workshops. Participants are expected to attend all or almost all sessions.
If you have any questions, please contact Honey Meir-Levi, Program Coordinator, at honey.meirlevi@gmail.com.
Meetings will be on Wednesday mornings 10 am to noon. Most meetings will be on the second Wednesday of the month.
