You’re invited to Israel’s 76th Birthday Party at KE! Come enjoy crafts, games, and other hands-on activities in celebration of Yom Ha'Atzmaut, Israel's Independence Day. Families with babies and toddlers are invited to join Morat Derech Sarah Miller and Tyler Dean from 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm for music and movement in the Community Room. 

6:00 PM | Israeli Dinner & Folk Dancing
Let’s celebrate our homeland with an Israeli feast (hummus, falafel, salads, and more) and folk dancing at 6:30 pm!

7:00 PM | The Hope - HaTikva
Join us for a celebration of Israel in song and photo that leads us to hope. Trumpet player Aaron Kahn will perform songs of Israel and nature, including the California premiere of music of nature written for him by composer Justin Ralls. He will also be playing traditional Israeli folk melodies. Accompanying him is star Bay Area pianist Ronny Greenberg. Alongside the music we will chant passages from Israel's Scroll of Independence as we pray for peace and a return of the hostages. This multimedia event will be musically and visually rich as well as spiritually meaningful. This program is in memory of Mel and Irene Kraus and their shared love of music.
