Youth Groups

Kol Emeth offers three youth groups providing wonderful opportunities for socializing, community service, and Jewish fun. Kadima and Junior Kadima ("Kadinkers") are youth programs for 4th-8th graders. PAUSY is the Palo Alto Chapter of the United Synagogue Youth organization for high school students, complete with monthly weekend activities and 5 awesome regional conventions a year. Synagogue membership is not required to get your children involved in these programs!

Our Vision: The Jewish youth of our community will feel connected to and engaged with Judaism, Israel, and the Jewish People.

Our Mission: Kol Emeth Youth Programs aim to foster lifelong Jewish identity, Jewish literacy, and Jewish community through various  modalities including social events, educational opportunities, tikkun olam projects and religious expression.

 

Kadima and Kadinkers

Kadima and Kadinkers are youth programs for children in grades 4th through 7th. 4th-5th graders are welcome to join Kadinkers, and 6th-7th graders can join Kadima.

Members of Kadima and Kadinkers participate in social activities, work on community service projects, and form strong lifelong friendships. Events include Laser Quest, Rockin Jump, Scavenger Hunts, and Raging Waters. Come join the fun and meet new friends, hang out with old friends and have a wonderful time!

While your children are participating in wonderful activities, parents are welcome to stay and schmooze, or drop off and pick up.

 

Palo Alto USY

Synagogue Youth organization. Our award winning youth chapter is open to high school students, with monthly Jewish social events and approximately 5 regional conventions per year.

Past events have included Laser Quest, Bowling, Movie Nights, a Lag B’omer Beach Bonfire, a visit to Ronald McDonald House, and White Water Rafting Trips.  If you are in high school and looking for an opportunity to have fun, perform community service, see old friends, meet new friends, or simply hang out with other Jewish teens, then don’t hesitate any longer – become a member of PAUSY today!

USY also runs Teen Services for the High Holidays- come pray with your friends on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur!  (Held on the Congregation Beth Am campus.)
