At the conclusion of our event, we will be launching a West*East webpage featuring highlights from the evening's program as well as submissions from around the world.

For Yom Ha'atzmaut, we're supporting IsraAID, an incredible Israel-based NGO which responds to humanitarian crises worldwide. From supplying masks to refugees to restoring safe water supplies after a cyclone, they are focused on rapid response to crises as well as long term community recovery and healing. Their community first approach ensures affected communities rebuild stronger and is an incredible example of the power of Israel in the world as a force for Tikkun Olam.

CRAIG TAUBMAN - Internationally Acclaimed Singer and Songwriter

Craig Taubman began his illustrious career at 15, when he picked up a guitar and began to lead music at Camp Ramah in Ojai, California. After his studies at UCLA, Northridge University, the University of Judaism in Los Angeles, and Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Craig went on to an extensive career in music, television, and film. He speaks a language that is both comfortable and acceptable to children and adults, bridging traditional Jewish themes and ancient teachings with contemporary Jewish passages and experiences. His Jewish recordings are an integral part of the community, weaving song and spirit into the fabric of Jewish life.

DGANIT DADDO - Israeli Singer and Performer

Dganit Daddo was born and raised in Acre Israel, a city filled with different cultures, traditions, and music. A theater graduate from Beit Zvi, she began her career on the stage in Israel’s National Theater. Her love of music, particularly Ladino, compelled her to focus solely on her singing career. Dganit has performed all over the world at music festivals, special performances, and benefit concerts. Each performance is unique and is sure to have something for everyone!
