Books & Bagels with Rabbi Sheldon Lewis

Sunday, September 22, 2024 19 Elul 5784

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Join us for a discussion led by Flaurie S. Imberman with our own Rabbi Emeritus Sheldon Lewis about his newest book!

How Precious the Ground on Which We Stand: Jewish Values that Could Save the Earth.

A long-time leader in social justice movements, Rabbi Lewis once again bases his learning and teaching on Torah, using this as a springboard for action around climate change.

Books & Bagels brings authors, some local and some far away, to our KE community for a schmooze about their work and a schmear on a bagel. Each author is interviewed by Flaurie S. Imberman, and there is an opportunity for attendees to ask questions, and purchase a signed copy of the author's book. We offer this program intermittently, on Sunday mornings.

Contact Flaurie for questions about Books & Bagels.
