This July, Team Israel will take 24 players to Tokyo for the Olympic games. On Wednesday evening, you'll have the chance to hear from the team manager, Peter Kurtz, as well as a pitcher, Jon Moscot, who hails from the Bay area!

PETER KURZ 

Peter Kurz is the General Manager of the Israel Olympic Baseball Team – official qualifiers for the July 2021 Olympics in Tokyo. Kurz has served as the General Manager for Israel National Teams for over 10 years on behalf of the Israel Association of Baseball (IAB).

JON MOSCOT 

Jon Moscot is a pitcher for Team Israel which will be competing in the 2021 Summer Olympics.  Jon played for the Cincinnati Reds from 2015-18.  In 2018, he became a dual Israeli citizen. He pitched for Team Israel at the 2019 European Baseball Championship. He also pitched for the team at the Africa/Europe 2020 Olympic Qualification tournament in Italy in September 2019, which Israel won to qualify to play baseball at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
