Come celebrate Shabbat and the start of the school year as a community of new and returning families! Please register below as soon as possible so that our catering team can prepare the right amount of food and minimize waste. 

Sheldon Low and Hadar Orshalimy, the Israeli singing duo who came to KE shortly after October 7th, will be with us as well. They are a spiritually rich musical team joining us this year to enhance our prayer and singing life.  Their incredible voices and warm personalities make them wonderful Shabbat guests for this special Family Friday.

We will start the evening at 6pm with Kabbalat Shabbat KEnnections-style, followed by Shabbat dinner. In keeping with Back-to-School Shabbat tradition, we will end the evening with some friendly competition. Last year we played Family Feud; this year we will play Wheel of Fortune.

Family Fridays are included in Kol Shabbat tuition, so be sure to register your K-7th grader in Kol Shabbat by completing these steps:

• Go to our website and log into your ShulCloud account. If you don’t have a ShulCloud account or have trouble logging in, please email shimrit@kolemeth.org.
• Click here to enroll your K-7th grader in Kol Shabbat.
• Make sure you complete your registration by saving a method of payment to your ShulCloud account, signing our waivers, and filling out emergency forms.
