Kol Emeth's 17th Annual Women's Retreat in the Redwoods

We are excited for you to participate in this year's Women's Retreat. Please register by answering the questions below. If you have questions, feel free to contact Rabbi Graff, rabbigraff@kolemeth.org.

The cost of this year's retreat is higher than previous years, because Land of Medicine Buddha's prices have gone up. If the $450 price is prohibitive for you, simply write in how much you are able to pay, and no questions will be asked. If you are able to make an extra contribution to help enable another woman to attend, you can indicate that below as well. Thank you!

Our retreat will include a Friday night and Shabbat morning service. Would you like to participate in any of the following ways? Check all that interest you.

Try something new! The Women’s Retreat is a great opportunity to try something for the first time. Perhaps you would like to have an aliyah, read from the Torah, wear a tallit, lead Kiddush, lead Birkat Hamazon (grace after meals), lead Havdalah, share a D’var Torah/Torah reflection, teach, or do something else for the first time in a safe community of women. Is there something you might like to try?

Milestones - During the Torah service on Saturday morning, we will have group aliyot, drawing on themes from the Torah reading and themes from our lives. We will also mark milestones (special birthdays, transitions, recovery from illness, treatment for illness). Is there a milestone you might like to mark at the retreat? Please share.

Saturday afternoon we are planning to have multiple options for learning and conversation. Some sessions may be more study-oriented. Some may be opportunities to talk about shared struggles or interests. What might you like to talk about or learn about with other women? Would you consider leading such a session?

We need some help to make the retreat meals and other activities happen smoothly. It's also a great way to connect with other women. Please check any ways you might be willing to help.
