SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS

Wondering which service to attend?  Here’s some more information about our offerings.

Services from the Kol Emeth Building

Services from the Kol Emeth building will have a minyan to enable us to read Torah and conduct traditional services. Each will include speakers, participation, and our wonderful Hazanim. Services will be adapted for Zoom, but will feel most like the main sanctuary KE service.

Children and Family Programs:

Led by our extraordinary team of educators, each session will be filled with interactive, age-appropriate activities, games, and discussions around the themes of the High Holidays.

On Yom Kippur, don’t miss “Jonah the Musical: A Whale of a Tale!” This interactive production puts YOU  right in the show. Enjoy the story and sing along to parodies of your favorite “Moana” songs, as our very own KE players present this incredible Biblical text.

Alternative Yom Kippur Musaf with Rabbi Booth

Monday, September 28, 12-1:30pm
The High Holidays can be immersed in words and liturgy. This alternative experience will offer an interactive experience of song, learning, and prayer to help inspire change and renewal of the self and soul.

Havdalah to End Yom Kippur: Light it up!

Monday, September 28, 7:30pm
Calling everyone! We want to have a huge community wide Shofar blast and Havdalah. Your KE bag will include a Havdalah set so that everyone can participate from home. We will hear the final shofar blast and light our candles to bring song and hope into the new year. Join us at 7:30pm.
